Colleges I am interested in:
1) Northern Arizona University - I am absolutely in love with the campus and the city of Flagstaff, AZ. It is a 2 hour car ride away from family in Phoenix. I could easily get accepted, as my GPA and PSAT scores are higher than their average GPA and SAT scores. It's average class size varies, but it is not huge. They have my desired majors (Business Administration/Management and Marketing). They offer many academic resources, such as tutoring. There seems to be a lot of opportunity offered through NAU.
2) Fort Lewis College - FLC is located here in Durango. I am familiar with the campus and Durango does offer the "nature-scene" I am looking for. I have family in Durango. I currently live in Durango and could get in-state tuition. I would not need to live on campus. I would definitely be accepted, as my PSAT score & GPA is higher than their averages. They offer my desired majors, and they have smaller class sizes. However, with all the pros, I feel that staying in Durango would constrict me too much and would not allow me to explore other opportunities.

Debrief:
1) I figured out that the qualities I desire the most in a college are a small to medium size, a variety of clubs, and an intelligent, respectful, kind student body.
2) I learned how colleges and universities qualify themselves as an Ivy League.
