Polyptych "Picasso" Mural Project
Watercolor Project
In this project, we had to find a black and white photo to copy onto a piece of paper twice, put this odd liquid glue over the black areas, watercolor paint the white areas, peel the glue off, and viola, it's done! We were required to use a color scheme (to the right) and two watercolor techniques.
I used the complementary color scheme and the watercolor techniques of rubbing alcohol drops and salt.
My final product is to the right.

Indoor + Outdoor Perspective Project
In this project, we had to work on our skills of painting a landscape picture with watercolor. We had to include a foreground object, a middle-ground object, and a background object. I went about this project by splitting by picture into equal squares and focusing on one square at a time. My final product is to the left.

Portraits (Self Directed Mini Project)
For this mini project, I asked Britt if I could skip the current water color project and instead focus on two paintings as Christmas presents for family members. I learned how to use acrylic paint to blend and create value. I was very impressed with myself when I was finished with my products.
Zentangle Project
We had to incorporate the 7 elements of art into a Zentangle piece.
7 Elements of Art:
- Line
- Color
- Space
- Form
- Shape
- Value
- Texture
